Catechism of the Catholic Church 525 Jesus was born in a humble stable, into a poor family.(Cf. Lk 2:61) Simple shepherds were the first witnesses to this event. In this poverty heaven's glory was made manifest.(Cf. Lk 2:8-20) The Church never tires of singing the glory of this night: The Virgin today brings into the world the Eternal And the earth offers a cave to the Inaccessible. The angels and shepherds praise him And the magi advance with the star, For you are born for us, Little Child, God eternal!(Kontakion of Romanos the Melodist)

Entrance Antiphon : Ps 2:7 The Lord said to me: You are my Son. It is I who have begotten you this day. or Let us all rejoice in the Lord, for our Savior has been born in the world. Today true peace has come down to us from heaven.

集禱經 天主，你以真光的照耀，使這至聖之夜光輝燦爛。請賜我們在現世認識真光的奧蹟，將來也能在天上，分享這真光的喜樂。他和你及聖神，是唯一天主，永生永王。亞孟。

Collect O God, who have made this most sacred night radiant with the splendor of the true light, grant, we pray, that we, who have known the mysteries of his light on earth, may also delight in his gladness in heaven. Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

讀經一 : 恭讀依撒意亞先知書 9:1-6 在黑暗中行走的百姓，看見了一道皓光；那寄居於漆黑之地的人，已有光輝照射在他們身上。你加強了他們的快樂，增加了他們的喜悅；他們在你面前歡樂，有如人收割時的歡樂，又如分贓時的愉快；因為你折斷了他們所負的重軛，和他們肩上的橫木，以及壓迫他們者的短棍，有如在米德楊那天一樣；因為戰士所穿發響的軍靴，和染滿血跡的戰袍，都要被焚毀，作為火燄的燃料。因為有一嬰孩為我們誕生了，有一個兒子賜給了我們。他肩上擔負著王權；他的名字要稱為神奇的謀士、強有力的天主、永遠之父、和平之王。他的王權是偉大的；達味的御座和他王國的平安，是無限的。他將以正義與公平，鞏固與保持他的王國，從今時直到永遠：萬軍上主的熱誠必要完成這事。

First Reading : Is 9:1-6 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone. You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing, as they rejoice before you as at the harvest, as people make merry when dividing spoils. For the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, and the rod of their taskmaster you have smashed, as on the day of Midian. For every boot that tramped in battle, every cloak rolled in blood, will be burned as fuel for flames. For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace. His dominion is vast and forever peaceful, from David’s throne, and over his kingdom, which he confirms and sustains by judgment and justice, both now and forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this!

讀經二 : 恭讀聖保祿宗徒致弟鐸書 2:11-14 親愛的：天主拯救眾人的恩寵已經出現，教導我們棄絕不虔敬的生活，和世俗的貪慾；而要有節制地、公正地、虔敬地在今世生活，期待所希望的幸福，和我們偉大的天主及救主耶穌基督光榮的顯現。他為我們捨棄了自己，是為救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並洗淨我們，使我們能成為他的選民，叫我們熱心行善。

Second Reading : Ti 2:11-14 Beloved: The grace of God has appeared, saving all and training us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly in this age, as we await the blessed hope, the appearance of the glory of our great God and savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to deliver us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people as his own, eager to do what is good.

Gospel : Lk 2:1-14 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town. And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

獻禮經 上主，求你悅納我們在這慶節所獻上的禮品，並賜我們藉此神聖交換，更能肖似基督；他取了我們的人性，為使我們分享他的天主性。因主耶穌基督之名，求你俯聽我們的祈禱。亞孟。

Prayer over the Offerings May the oblation of this day's feast be pleasing to you, O Lord, we pray, that through this most holy exchange  we may be found in the likeness of Christ, in whom our nature is united to you. Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

領主詠 : 若1:14 聖言成了血肉，寄居在我們中間；我們見了他的光榮。

Communion Antiphon : Jn 1:14 The Word became flesh, and we have seen his glory.

領主後經 上主、我們的天主，我們歡欣慶祝救主的誕生。求你恩賜我們善度相稱的基督徒生活，來日與他一起，同享光榮。因主耶穌基督之名，求你俯聽我們的祈禱。亞孟。

Prayer After Communion Grant us, we pray, O Lord our God, that we, who are gladdened by participation in the feast of our Redeemer's Nativity, may through an honorable way of life become worthy of union with him Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
