가톨릭 교회 교리서 2015 완덕의 길은 십자가를 거쳐 가는 길이다. 자아 포기와 영적 싸움 없이는 성덕도 있을 수 없다.[2티모 4장 참조] 영적 진보는 참행복의 평화와 기쁨 안에서 살도록 점차적으로 인도하는 고행과 극기를 내포한다. 올라가는 이는 아무리 ‘산 너머 산’이라 해도 끝없이 새로운 고개를 하나씩 넘어갑니다. 올라가는 이는 이미 아는 것을 차지하려는 갈망을 버리지 않습니다.[니사의 성 그레고리오, 「아가 강론」, 8: Gregorii Nysseni opera, W. Catechism of the Catholic Church 2015 The way of perfection passes by way of the Cross. There is no holiness without renunciation and spiritual battle.[Cf. 2 Tim 4.] Spiritual progress entails the ascesis and mortification that gradually lead to living in the peace and joy of the Beatitudes: He who climbs never stops going from beginning to beginning, through beginnings that have no end. 본기도 하느님, 천상 은총으로 저희를 빛의 자녀가 되게 하셨으니 저희가 다시는 오류의 어둠 속을 헤매지 않고 언제나 진리의 빛 속에 살게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Collect O God, who through the grace of adoption chose us to be children of light, grant, we pray, that we may not be wrapped in the darkness of error but always be seen to stand in the bright light of truth. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

제1독서 : 열왕기 하권 4,8-11.14-16ㄴ 8 하루는 엘리사가 수넴을 지나가게 되었다. 그런데 거기에 사는 한 부유한 여자가 엘리사에게 음식을 대접하게 해 달라고 간청하였다. 그래서 엘리사는 그곳을 지날 때마다 그의 집에 들러 음식을 먹곤 하였다. 9 그 여자가 남편에게 말하였다. “여보, 우리 집에 늘 들르시는 이분은 하느님의 거룩한 사람이 틀림없습니다. 10 벽을 둘러친 작은 옥상 방을 하나 꾸미고, 침상과 식탁과 의자와 등잔을 놓아 드립시다. 그러면 그분이 우리에게 오실 때마다 그곳에 드실 수 있을 것입니다.” 11 어느 날 엘리사가 거기에 갔다가 그 옥상 방에 들어 쉬게 되었다. 14 엘리사는 종에게 “저 부인에게 무엇을 해 주면 좋을까?” 하고 물었다. 게하지가 “저 부인은 아들이 없는 데다가 남편은 나이가 많습니다.” 하고 대답하였다. 15 그러자 엘리사는 “여자를 불러라.” 하고 일렀다. 종이 여자를 부르니 그 여자가 문간에 섰다. 16 엘리사가 말하였다. “내년 이맘때가 되면 부인은 한 아들을 안게 될 것이오.”

First Reading : 2 Kgs 4:8-11, 14-16a One day Elisha came to Shunem, where there was a woman of influence, who urged him to dine with her. Afterward, whenever he passed by, he used to stop there to dine. So she said to her husband, "I know that Elisha is a holy man of God. Since he visits us often, let us arrange a little room on the roof and furnish it for him with a bed, table, chair, and lamp, so that when he comes to us he can stay there." Sometime later Elisha arrived and stayed in the room overnight. Later Elisha asked, "Can something be done for her?" His servant Gehazi answered, "Yes! She has no son, and her husband is getting on in years." Elisha said, "Call her." When the woman had been called and stood at the door, Elisha promised, "This time next year you will be fondling a baby son."

제2독서 : 사도 바오로의 로마서 6,3-4.8-11 형제 여러분, 3 그리스도 예수님과 하나 되는 세례를 받은 우리가 모두 그분의 죽음과 하나 되는 세례를 받았다는 사실을 여러분은 모릅니까? 4 과연 우리는 그분의 죽음과 하나 되는 세례를 통하여 그분과 함께 묻혔습니다. 그리하여 그리스도께서 아버지의 영광을 통하여 죽은 이들 가운데에서 되살아나신 것처럼, 우리도 새로운 삶을 살아가게 되었습니다. 8 그래서 우리가 그리스도와 함께 죽었으니 그분과 함께 살리라고 우리는 믿습니다. 9 우리는 그리스도께서 죽은 이들 가운데에서 되살아나시어 다시는 돌아가시지 않으리라는 것을 압니다. 죽음은 더 이상 그분 위에 군림하지 못합니다. 10 그분께서 돌아가신 것은 죄와 관련하여 단 한 번 돌아가신 것이고, 그분께서 사시는 것은 하느님을 위하여 사시는 것입니다. 11 이와 같이 여러분 자신도 죄에서는 죽었지만 그리스도 예수님 안에서 하느님을 위하여 살고 있다고 생각하십시오.

Second Reading : Rom 6:3-4, 8-11 Brothers and sisters: Are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life. If, then, we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. We know that Christ, raised from the dead, dies no more; death no longer has power over him. As to his death, he died to sin once and for all; as to his life, he lives for God. Consequently, you too must think of yourselves as dead to sin and living for God in Christ Jesus.

복음 : 마태오 : 10,37-42 그때에 예수님께서 사도들에게 말씀하셨다. 37 “아버지나 어머니를 나보다 더 사랑하는 사람은 나에게 합당하지 않다. 아들이나 딸을 나보다 더 사랑하는 사람도 나에게 합당하지 않다. 38 또 제 십자가를 지고 나를 따르지 않는 사람도 나에게 합당하지 않다. 39 제 목숨을 얻으려는 사람은 목숨을 잃고, 나 때문에 제 목숨을 잃는 사람은 목숨을 얻을 것이다. 40 너희를 받아들이는 이는 나를 받아들이는 사람이고, 나를 받아들이는 이는 나를 보내신 분을 받아들이는 사람이다. 41 예언자를 예언자라서 받아들이는 이는 예언자가 받는 상을 받을 것이고, 의인을 의인이라서 받아들이는 이는 의인이 받는 상을 받을 것이다. 42 내가 진실로 너희에게 말한다. 이 작은 이들 가운데 한 사람에게 그가 제자라서 시원한 물 한 잔이라도 마시게 하는 이는 자기가 받을 상을 결코 잃지 않을 것이다.”

Gospel : Mt 10:37-42 Jesus said to his apostles: "Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. "Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones to drink because the little one is a disciple— amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward."

예물 기도 하느님, 이 신비를 거행하는 저희에게 구원을 베푸시니 이 성찬례가 하느님께 올리는 합당한 제사가 되게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer over the Offerings O God, who graciously accomplish the effects of your mysteries, grant, we pray, that the deeds by which we serve you may be worthy of these sacred gifts. Through Christ our Lord.

영성체송 : 시편 103(102),1 내 영혼아, 주님을 찬미하여라. 내 안의 모든 것도 거룩하신 그 이름 찬미하여라. 또는 : 요한 17,20-21 참조 주님이 말씀하신다. 아버지, 이 사람들을 위하여 비오니, 이들이 우리 안에 하나가 되게 하시고, 아버지가 저를 보내셨다는 것을 세상이 믿게 하소서.

Communion Antiphon : Cf. Ps 103(102):1 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all within me, his holy name. Or : Jn 17:20-21 O Father, I pray for them, that they may be one in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me, says the Lord.

영성체 후 기도 주님, 저희가 봉헌하고 받아 모신 성체로 저희에게 새 생명을 주시고 저희가 사랑으로 주님과 하나 되어 길이 남을 열매를 맺게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer After Communion May this divine sacrifice we have offered and received fill us with life, O Lord, we pray, so that, bound to you in lasting charity, we may bear fruit that lasts for ever. Through Christ our Lord.
