성 디스마스께 드리는 기도 | Prayer to St Dismas

성 디스마스여, 그리스도 주님께서 친히 성인으로 선포하신 분이시여. 갈바리아에서 주님께 죄를 고백함으로써 “오늘” 주님과 함께 하늘 나라에 있으리라는 약속을 받으셨나이다. 십자가 위에서 주님 곁에 매달려 계시며 자신의 죄를 진심으로 뉘우치셨고, 백인의 창이 주님의 옆구리를 찢기 전부터 자비와 용서로 주 예수님의 성심을 여신 분이시여. 마지막 고통의 순간에 주님의 얼굴 가까이에서 위로의 말씀을 드릴 줄 아셨던 분이시여. 기도하는 법을 아셨던 성인이시여, 제 죄의 용서를 얻기 위하여 제가 드려야 할 말을 저에게 가르쳐 주소서. 이제 하늘에서 주님 곁에 가까이 계신 성 디스마스여, 제가 다시는 주님을 저버리지 않도록 저를 위하여 주님께 빌어 주소서. 그리하여 제 생애의 끝에 주님께서 당신께 하셨던 그 말씀을 저도 듣게 하소서. “오늘 네가 나와 함께 낙원에 있으리라.” 아멘.

Saint Dismas, you alone were canonized a Saint by Christ Himself; you were assured of a place in Heaven with Him, "This day" because you confessed your sins to Him on Calvary; and you were truly sorry for them as you hung beside Him on a cross; you who opened the Heart of Jesus in mercy and forgiveness even before the centurion's spear tore it asunder; you whose face was close to that of Jesus in His last agony, to offer Him a word of comfort; you who knew how to pray, teach me the words to say to gain pardon for my sins; and you who are close to Him now in Heaven, pray to Him for me that I shall never again desert Him, but that at the close of my life I may hear the words He addressed to you: "This day thou shalt be with Me in Paradise." Amen.
