가톨릭 교회 교리서 584 예수님께서는 하느님을 만나는 특별한 장소로서 성전에 올라가셨다. 예수님께는 성전이 당신 아버지의 거처이며, 기도하는 집이다. 그래서 성전 앞뜰을 장사하는 곳으로 만든 것에 분개하신다.(마태 21,13 참조) 성전에서 장사꾼들을 쫓아내신 것은 당신 아버지에 대한 열정적 사랑 때문이다. 예수님께서는 “‘내 아버지의 집을 장사하는 집으로 만들지 마라.’ 하고 이르셨다. 그러자 제자들은 ‘당신 집에 대한 열정이 저를 집어삼킬 것입니다.’(시편 69(68),10)라고 성경에 기록된 말씀이 생각났다”(요한 2,16-17). 예수님께서 부활하신 뒤에 사도들도 경건한 마음으로 성전을 계속 존중하였다.(사도 2,46; 3,1; 5,20.21 등 참조)

Catechism of the Catholic Church 584 Jesus went up to the Temple as the privileged place of encounter with God. For him, the Temple was the dwelling of his Father, a house of prayer, and he was angered that its outer court had become a place of commerce.(Cf. Mt 21:13) He drove merchants out of it because of jealous love for his Father: "You shall not make my Father's house a house of trade. His disciples remembered that it was written, 'Zeal for your house will consume me.'"(Jn 2:16-17; cf. Ps 69:10) After his Resurrection his apostles retained their reverence for the Temple.(Cf. Acts 2:46; 3:1; 5:20, 21; etc)

입당송 : 시편 25(24),15-16 제 발을 그물에서 빼내 주시리니, 제 눈은 언제나 주님을 바라보나이다. 저를 돌아보시어 자비를 베푸소서. 외롭고 가련한 몸이옵니다. 또는 에제 36,23-26 참조 주님이 말씀하신다. 나의 거룩함을 드러내어, 온 세상에서 너희를 모으리라. 너희에게 정결한 물을 뿌려, 모든 부정에서 너희를 정결하게 하고, 너희 안에 새 영을 넣어 주리라.

Entrance Antiphon : Cf. Ps 25(24):15-16 My eyes are always on the Lord, for he rescues my feet from the snare. Turn to me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and poor. Or : Cf. 본기도 하느님, 온갖 은총과 자비를 베푸시어 저희가 단식과 기도와 자선으로 죄를 씻게 하셨으니 진심으로 뉘우치는 저희를 굽어보시고 죄에 짓눌려 있는 저희를 언제나 자비로이 일으켜 주소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Collect O God, author of every mercy and of all goodness, who in fasting, prayer and almsgiving have shown us a remedy for sin, look graciously on this confession of our lowliness, that we, who are bowed down by our conscience, may always be lifted up by your mercy. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, you Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

First Reading : Ex 20:1-17 In those days, God delivered all these commandments: “I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. You shall not have other gods besides me. You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth; you shall not bow down before them or worship them. For I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their fathers’ wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation; but bestowing mercy down to the thousandth generation on the children of those who love me and keep my commandments. “You shall not take the name of the LORD, your God, in vain. For the LORD will not leave unpunished the one who takes his name in vain. “Remember to keep holy the sabbath day. Six days you may labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD, your God. No work may be done then either by you, or your son or daughter, or your male or female slave, or your beast, or by the alien who lives with you. 제2독서 : 사도 바오로의 코린토 1서 1,22-25 형제 여러분, 22 유다인들은 표징을 요구하고 그리스인들은 지혜를 찾습니다. 23 그러나 우리는 십자가에 못 박히신 그리스도를 선포합니다. 그리스도는 유다인들에게는 걸림돌이고 다른 민족에게는 어리석음입니다. 24 그렇지만 유다인이든 그리스인이든 부르심을 받은 이들에게 그리스도는 하느님의 힘이시며 하느님의 지혜이십니다. 25 하느님의 어리석음이 사람보다 더 지혜롭고 하느님의 약함이 사람보다 더 강하기 때문입니다.

Second Reading : 1 Cor 1:22-25 Brothers and sisters: Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

복음 : 요한 2,13-25 13 유다인들의 파스카 축제가 가까워지자 예수님께서는 예루살렘에 올라가셨다. 14 그리고 성전에 소와 양과 비둘기를 파는 자들과 환전꾼들이 앉아 있는 것을 보시고, 15 끈으로 채찍을 만드시어 양과 소와 함께 그들을 모두 성전에서 쫓아내셨다. 또 환전상들의 돈을 쏟아 버리시고 탁자들을 엎어 버리셨다. 16 비둘기를 파는 자들에게는, “이것들을 여기에서 치워라. 내 아버지의 집을 장사하는 집으로 만들지 마라.” 하고 이르셨다. 17 그러자 제자들은 “당신 집에 대한 열정이 저를 집어삼킬 것입니다.”라고 성경에 기록된 말씀이 생각났다. 18 그때에 유다인들이 예수님께, “당신이 이런 일을 해도 된다는 무슨 표징을 보여 줄 수 있소?” 하고 말하였다. 19 그러자 예수님께서 그들에게 대답하셨다. “이 성전을 허물어라. 그러면 내가 사흘 안에 다시 세우겠다.” 20 유다인들이 말하였다. “이 성전을 마흔여섯 해나 걸려 지었는데, 당신이 사흘 안에 다시 세우겠다는 말이오?” 21 그러나 그분께서 성전이라고 하신 것은 당신 몸을 두고 하신 말씀이었다. 22 예수님께서 죽은 이들 가운데에서 되살아나신 뒤에야, 제자들은 예수님께서 이 말씀을 하신 것을 기억하고, 성경과 그분께서 이르신 말씀을 믿게 되었다. 23 파스카 축제 때에 예수님께서 예루살렘에 계시는 동안, 많은 사람이 그분께서 일으키신 표징들을 보고 그분의 이름을 믿었다. 24 그러나 예수님께서는 그들을 신뢰하지 않으셨다. 그분께서 모든 사람을 다 알고 계셨기 때문이다. 25 그분께는 사람에 관하여 누가 증언해 드릴 필요가 없었다. 사실 예수님께서는 사람 속에 들어 있는 것까지 알고 계셨다.

Gospel : Jn 2:13-25 Since the Passover of the Jews was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. He found in the temple area those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, as well as the money changers seated there. He made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and oxen, and spilled the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables, and to those who sold doves he said, “Take these out of here, and stop making my Father’s house a marketplace.” His disciples recalled the words of Scripture, Zeal for your house will consume me. At this the Jews answered and said to him, “What sign can you show us for doing this?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews said, “This temple has been under construction for forty-six years, and you will raise it up in three days?” But he was speaking about the temple of his body. Therefore, when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they came to believe the Scripture and the word Jesus had spoken. While he was in Jerusalem for the feast of Passover, many began to believe in his name when they saw the signs he was doing. But Jesus would not trust himself to them because he knew them all, and did not need anyone to testify about human nature. He himself understood it well.

예물 기도 주님, 이 화해의 제사를 굽어보시어 저희 죄를 용서하시고 저희도 형제들을 용서하게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer over the Offerings Be pleased, O Lord, with these sacrificial offerings, and grant that we who beseech pardon for our own sins, may take care to forgive our neighbor. Through Christ our Lord.

사순 감사송 1 : 사순 시기의 영성적 의미 거룩하신 아버지, 전능하시고 영원하신 주 하느님, 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 언제나 어디서나 아버지께 감사함이 참으로 마땅하고 옳은 일이며 저희 도리요 구원의 길이옵니다. 아버지께서는 신자들이 더욱 열심히 기도하고 사랑을 실천하여 해마다 깨끗하고 기쁜 마음으로 파스카 축제를 맞이하게 하셨으며 새 생명을 주는 구원의 신비에 자주 참여하여 은총을 가득히 받게 하셨나이다. 그러므로 천사와 대천사와 좌품 주품 천사와 하늘의 모든 군대와 함께 저희도 주님의 영광을 찬미하며 끝없이 노래하나이다. 또는 사순 감사송 2 : 참회 거룩하신 아버지, 전능하시고 영원하신 주 하느님, 언제나 어디서나 아버지께 감사함이 참으로 마땅하고 옳은 일이며 저희 도리요 구원의 길이옵니다. 아버지께서는 자녀들의 마음을 다시 깨끗하게 하시려고 구원과 은총의 시기를 특별히 마련하시어 그릇된 욕망에서 벗어나 덧없는 일을 피하고 영원한 구원을 향하여 힘쓰게 하셨나이다. 그러므로 모든 천사와 성인과 함께 저희도 주님을 찬미하며 끝없이 노래하나이다.

Preface : The Samaritan Woman It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord. For when he asked the Samaritan woman for water to drink, he had already created the gift of faith within her and so ardently did he thirst for her faith, that he kindled in her the fire of divine love. And so we, too, give you thanks and with the Angels praise your mighty deeds, as we acclaim:

Communion Antiphon : Jn 4:13-14 For anyone who drinks it, says the Lord, the water I shall give will become in him a spring welling up to eternal life. Cf. Ps 84(83):4-5 The sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for her young: by your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are they who dwell in your house, for ever singing your praise.

영성체 후 기도 주님, 영원한 생명의 보증으로 이 세상에서 천상 양식을 받고 간절히 비오니 저희가 이 성사의 신비를 날마다 실천하게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer After Communion As we receive the pledge of things yet hidden in heaven and are nourished while still on earth with the Bread that comes from on high, we humbly entreat you, O Lord, that what is being brought about in us in mystery may come to true completion. Through Christ our Lord.

백성을 위한 기도 주님, 주님을 믿는 이들의 마음을 이끄시고 주님을 섬기는 이들에게 자비로이 은총을 베푸시어 주님 사랑과 이웃 사랑을 실천하며 주님의 계명을 완수하게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer Over the People Direct, O Lord, we pray, the hearts of your faithful, and in your kindness grant your servants this grace: that, abiding in the love of you and their neighbor, they may fulfill the whole of your commands. Through Christ our Lord.
