가톨릭 교회 교리서 2559 “기도는 하느님을 향하여 마음을 들어 높이는 것이며, 하느님께 은혜를 청하는 것이다.”(다마스쿠스의 성 요한, 「신앙 해설」, 68(「정통 신앙」, 3, 24): PTS 12, 167(PG 94, 1089)) 우리는 어떤 자세로 기도하는가- 우리의 교만과 우리 자신의 원의라는 고자세에서 하는 가, 아니면 “깊은 곳에서”(시편 130(129),1) 뉘우치는 겸손한 마음으로 하는가- 겸손한 사람은 드높여진다.(루카 18,9-14 참조) 겸손은 기도의 초석이다. “우리는 올바른 방식으로 기도할 줄 모릅니다”(로마 8,26). 겸손은 기도의 선물을 무상으로 받기 위한 마음가짐이다. “인간은 하느님께 비는 걸인이기”(성 아우구스티노, 「설교집」, 56, 6, 9: P. Verbraken 편, Revue Benedictine 68(1958), 31(PL 38, 381)) 때문이다.

Catechism of the Catholic Church 2559 "Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God."(St. John Damascene, Defide orth. 3,24:PG 94,1089C) But when we pray, do we speak from the height of our pride and will, or "out of the depths" of a humble and contrite heart?(Ps 130:1) He who humbles himself will be exalted;(Cf. Lk 18:9-14) humility is the foundation of prayer, Only when we humbly acknowledge that "we do not know how to pray as we ought,"(Rom 8:26) are we ready to receive freely the gift of prayer. "Man is a beggar before God."(St. Augustine, Sermo 56,6,9:PL 38,381)

본기도 전능하시고 자비로우신 하느님, 은총을 베푸시어 저희가 하느님을 합당히 섬기고 영원한 행복을 바라보며 거침없이 달려가게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Collect Almighty and merciful God, by whose gift your faithful offer you right and praiseworthy service, grant, we pray, that we may hasten without stumbling to receive the things you have promised. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

제1독서 : 말라키 예언서 1,14ㄴ-2,2ㄴ.8-10 14 정녕 나는 위대한 임금이다. ─만군의 주님께서 말씀하신다. ─ 민족들은 나의 이름을 경외한다. 2,1 자 이제, 사제들아, 이것이 너희에게 내리는 계명이다. 2 너희가 말을 듣지 않고, 명심하여 내 이름에 영광을 돌리지 않으면, 내가 너희에게 저주를 내리겠다. ─만군의 주님께서 말씀하신다. ─ 8 그러나 너희는 길에서 벗어나 너희의 법으로 많은 이를 넘어지게 하였다. 너희는 레위의 계약을 깨뜨렸다. ─만군의 주님께서 말씀하신다. ─ 9 그러므로 나도 너희가 온 백성 앞에서 멸시와 천대를 받게 하리라. 너희는 나의 길을 지키지 않고 법을 공평하게 적용하지 않았다. 10 우리 모두의 아버지는 한 분이 아니시냐? 한 분이신 하느님께서 우리를 창조하지 않으셨느냐? 그런데 어찌하여 우리는 서로 배신하며 우리 조상들의 계약을 더럽히는가?

First Reading : Mal 1:14b-2:2b, 8-10 A great King am I, says the LORD of hosts, and my name will be feared among the nations. And now, O priests, this commandment is for you: If you do not listen, if you do not lay it to heart, to give glory to my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will send a curse upon you and of your blessing I will make a curse. You have turned aside from the way, and have caused many to falter by your instruction; you have made void the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts. I, therefore, have made you contemptible and base before all the people, since you do not keep my ways, but show partiality in your decisions. Have we not all the one father? Has not the one God created us? Why then do we break faith with one another, violating the covenant of our fathers?

Second Reading : 1 Thes 2:7b-9, 13 Brothers and sisters: We were gentle among you, as a nursing mother cares for her children. With such affection for you, we were determined to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our very selves as well, so dearly beloved had you become to us. You recall, brothers and sisters, our toil and drudgery. Working night and day in order not to burden any of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. And for this reason we too give thanks to God unceasingly, that, in receiving the word of God from hearing us, you received not a human word but, as it truly is, the word of God, which is now at work in you who believe.

복음 : 마태오 23,1-12 1 그때에 예수님께서 군중과 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. 2 “율법 학자들과 바리사이들은 모세의 자리에 앉아 있다. 3 그러니 그들이 너희에게 말하는 것은 다 실행하고 지켜라. 그러나 그들의 행실은 따라 하지 마라. 그들은 말만 하고 실행하지는 않는다. 4 또 그들은 무겁고 힘겨운 짐을 묶어 다른 사람들 어깨에 올려놓고, 자기들은 그것을 나르는 일에 손가락 하나 까딱하려고 하지 않는다. 5 그들이 하는 일이란 모두 다른 사람들에게 보이기 위한 것이다. 그래서 성구갑을 넓게 만들고 옷자락 술을 길게 늘인다. 6 잔칫집에서는 윗자리를, 회당에서는 높은 자리를 좋아하고, 7 장터에서 인사받기를, 사람들에게 스승이라고 불리기를 좋아한다. 8 그러나 너희는 스승이라고 불리지 않도록 하여라. 너희의 스승님은 한 분뿐이시고 너희는 모두 형제다. 9 또 이 세상 누구도 아버지라고 부르지 마라. 너희의 아버지는 오직 한 분, 하늘에 계신 그분뿐이시다. 10 그리고 너희는 선생이라고 불리지 않도록 하여라. 너희의 선생님은 그리스도 한 분뿐이시다. 11 너희 가운데에서 가장 높은 사람은 너희를 섬기는 사람이 되어야 한다. 12 누구든지 자신을 높이는 이는 낮아지고 자신을 낮추는 이는 높아질 것이다.”

Gospel : Mt 23:1-12 Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples, saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees have taken their seat on the chair of Moses. Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice. They tie up heavy burdens hard to carry and lay them on people's shoulders, but they will not lift a finger to move them. All their works are performed to be seen. They widen their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels. They love places of honor at banquets, seats of honor in synagogues, greetings in marketplaces, and the salutation 'Rabbi.' As for you, do not be called 'Rabbi.' You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers. Call no one on earth your father; you have but one Father in heaven. Do not be called 'Master'; you have but one master, the Christ. The greatest among you must be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

예물 기도 주님, 저희가 바치는 이 제물을 거룩한 제사로 받아들이시어 저희에게 주님의 자비를 가득히 베풀어 주소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer over the Offerings May these sacrificial offerings, O Lord, become for you a pure oblation, and for us a holy outpouring of your mercy. Through Christ our Lord.

영성체송 : 시편 16(15),11 참조 주님, 저에게 생명의 길 가르치시니, 당신 얼굴 뵈오며 기쁨에 넘치리이다. 또는 요한 6,57 참조 주님이 말씀하신다. 살아 계신 아버지가 나를 보내셨고, 내가 아버지로 말미암아 사는 것과 같이, 나를 먹는 사람도 나로 말미암아 살리라.

Communion Antiphon : Cf. Ps 16(15):11 You will show me the path of life, the fullness of joy in your presence, O Lord. or Jn 6:58 Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me shall have life because of me, says the Lord.

영성체 후 기도 주님, 천상의 성사로 저희를 새롭게 하셨으니 저희에게 주님의 힘찬 능력을 드러내시어 주님께서 약속하신 은혜를 얻게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer After Communion May the working of your power, O Lord, increase in us, we pray, so that, renewed by these heavenly Sacraments, we may be prepared by your gift for receiving what they promise. Through Christ our Lord.
