가톨릭 교회 교리서 308 하느님께서 당신 피조물들의 모든 활동에 작용하신다는 사실은 창조주 하느님에 대한 신앙과 분리될 수 없는 진리이다. 그분은 이차적 원인들 안에서, 그것들을 통해서 작용하시는 첫 번째 원인이시다. “하느님은 당신 호의에 따라 여러분 안에서 활동하시어, 의지를 일으키시고 그것을 실천하게도 하시는 분이십니다”(필리 2,13).[1코린 12,6 참조] 이 진리는 피조물의 품위를 떨어뜨리는 것이 아니라 오히려 더 높여 준다. “창조주가 없으면 피조물도 없어지기 때문에”,[사목 헌장, 36항] 하느님의 능력과 지혜와 선함으로 무에서 존재하게 된 피조물은 자신의 근원으로부터 단절되면 스스로 아무것도 할 수 없으며, 은총의 도움 없이 자신의 최종 목적에 도달하기는 더더욱 불가능하다.[마태 19,26; 요한 15,5; 필리 4,13 참조]

Catechism of the Catholic Church 308 The truth that God is at work in all the actions of his creatures is inseparable from faith in God the Creator. God is the first cause who operates in and through secondary causes: "For God is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure."Phil 2:13; cf. 1 Cor 12:6. Far from diminishing the creature's dignity, this truth enhances it. Drawn from nothingness by God's power, wisdom and goodness, it can do nothing if it is cut off from its origin, for "without a Creator the creature vanishes."GS 36 § 3. 본기도 주님, 주님의 종들에게 자비를 베푸시고 주님의 은총을 인자로이 더해 주시어 믿음과 희망과 사랑으로 언제나 깨어 주님의 계명을 충실히 지키게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

But though you are master of might, you judge with clemency, and with much lenience you govern us; for power, whenever you will, attends you. And you taught your people, by these deeds, that those who are just must be kind; and you gave your children good ground for hope that you would permit repentance for their sins.

제2독서 : 사도 바오로의 로마서 8,26-27 형제 여러분, 26 성령께서는 나약한 우리를 도와주십니다. 우리는 올바른 방식으로 기도할 줄 모르지만, 성령께서 몸소 말로 다 할 수 없이 탄식하시며 우리를 대신하여 간구해 주십니다. 27 마음속까지 살펴보시는 분께서는 이러한 성령의 생각이 무엇인지 아십니다. 성령께서 하느님의 뜻에 따라 성도들을 위하여 간구하시기 때문입니다.

Second Reading : Rom 8:26-27 Brothers and sisters: The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the holy ones according to God's will.

Gospel : Mt 13:24-43 Jesus proposed another parable to the crowds, saying: "The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man who sowed good seed in his field. While everyone was asleep his enemy came and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off. When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well. The slaves of the householder came to him and said, 'Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where have the weeds come from?' He answered, 'An enemy has done this.' His slaves said to him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?' He replied, 'No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat along with them. Let them grow together until harvest; then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters, "First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning; but gather the wheat into my barn."'" He proposed another parable to them. "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field. It is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when full-grown it is the largest of plants. It becomes a large bush, and the 'birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.'" He spoke to them another parable. "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch was leavened." All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables. He spoke to them only in parables, to fulfill what had been said through the prophet: I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has lain hidden from the foundation of the world. Then, dismissing the crowds, he went into the house. His disciples approached him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field." He said in reply, "He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seed the children of the kingdom. The weeds are the children of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned up with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear."

예물 기도 하느님, 구약의 제사들을 하나의 제사로 완성하셨으니 하느님의 종들이 정성껏 바치는 이 예물을 받으시고 아벨의 제물처럼 강복하시고 거룩하게 하시어 존엄하신 하느님의 영광을 위하여 봉헌하는 이 제사가 인류 구원에 도움이 되게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer over the Offerings O God, who in the one perfect sacrifice brought to completion varied offerings of the law, accept, we pray, this sacrifice from your faithful servants and make it holy, as you blessed the gifts of Abel, so that what each has offered to the honor of your majesty may benefit the salvation of all. Through Christ our Lord.

영성체 후 기도 주님, 이 거룩한 신비의 은총으로 저희를 가득 채워 주셨으니 자비로이 도와주시어 저희가 옛 삶을 버리고 새 삶을 살아가게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.
