가톨릭 교회 교리서 863 전체 교회가 사도적인 이유는, 베드로와 사도들의 후계자들을 통하여 신앙과 생활에서 그 기원과 하나 되어 있기 때문이다. 전체 교회는 온 세상에 ‘파견’되었으며, 교회의 모든 지체들이 다양한 방식으로 이 파견에 참여함으로써 사도적이다. “그리스도인의 소명은 본질적으로 사도직을 위한 소명이다.” “그리스도의 나라를 온 세상으로 넓히기 위한 신비체의 모든 활동을 사도직”[평신도 교령, 2항.]이라고 부른다.

Catechism of the Catholic Church 863 The whole Church is apostolic, in that she remains, through the successors of St. Peter and the other apostles, in communion of faith and life with her origin: and in that she is "sent out" into the whole world. All members of the Church share in this mission, though in various ways. "The Christian vocation is, of its nature, a vocation to the apostolate as well." Indeed, we call an apostolate "every activity of the Mystical Body" that aims "to spread the Kingdom of Christ over all the earth."AA 2.

본기도 하느님, 하느님께 바라는 모든 이에게 힘을 주시니 자비로이 저희 기도를 들으시어 하느님 없이는 아무것도 할 수 없는 저희가 거룩한 은총의 도움으로 계명을 지키며 마음과 행동으로 하느님을 충실히 따르게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Collect O God, strength of those who hope in you, graciously hear our pleas, and, since without you mortal frailty can do nothing, grant us always the help of your grace, that in following your commands we may please you by our resolve and our deeds. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

제1독서 : 탈출기 19,2-6ㄱ 그 무렵 이스라엘 자손들은 2 시나이 광야에 이르러 그 광야에 진을 쳤다. 이렇게 이스라엘은 그곳 산 앞에 진을 쳤다. 3 모세가 하느님께 올라가자, 주님께서 산에서 그를 불러 말씀하셨다. “너는 야곱 집안에게 이렇게 말하여라. 이스라엘 자손들에게 알려 주어라. 4 ‘너희는 내가 이집트인들에게 무엇을 하고 어떻게 너희를 독수리 날개에 태워 나에게 데려왔는지 보았다. 5 이제 너희가 내 말을 듣고 내 계약을 지키면, 너희는 모든 민족들 가운데에서 나의 소유가 될 것이다. 온 세상이 나의 것이다. 6 그리고 너희는 나에게 사제들의 나라가 되고 거룩한 민족이 될 것이다.’”

First Reading : Ex 19:2-6a In those days, the Israelites came to the desert of Sinai and pitched camp. While Israel was encamped here in front of the mountain, Moses went up the mountain to God. Then the LORD called to him and said, “Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob; tell the Israelites: You have seen for yourselves how I treated the Egyptians and how I bore you up on eagle wings and brought you here to myself. Therefore, if you hearken to my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my special possession, dearer to me than all other people, though all the earth is mine. You shall be to me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation.”

제2독서 : 사도 바오로의 로마서 5,6-11 형제 여러분, 6 우리가 아직 나약하던 시절, 그리스도께서는 정해진 때에 불경한 자들을 위하여 돌아가셨습니다. 7 의로운 이를 위해서라도 죽을 사람은 거의 없습니다. 혹시 착한 사람을 위해서라면 누가 죽겠다고 나설지도 모릅니다. 8 그런데 우리가 아직 죄인이었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 돌아가심으로써, 하느님께서는 우리에 대한 당신의 사랑을 증명해 주셨습니다. 9 그러므로 이제 그분의 피로 의롭게 된 우리가 그분을 통하여 하느님의 진노에서 구원을 받게 되리라는 것은 더욱 분명합니다. 10 우리가 하느님의 원수였을 때에 그분 아드님의 죽음으로 그분과 화해하게 되었다면, 화해가 이루어진 지금 그 아드님의 생명으로 구원을 받게 되리라는 것은 더욱 분명합니다. 11 그뿐 아니라 우리는 또한 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 하느님을 자랑합니다. 이 그리스도를 통하여 이제 화해가 이루어진 것입니다.

Second Reading : Romans 5:6-11 Brothers and sisters: Christ, while we were still helpless, yet died at the appointed time for the ungodly. Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person, though perhaps for a good person one might even find courage to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. How much more then, since we are now justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath. Indeed, if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, once reconciled, will we be saved by his life. Not only that, but we also boast of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

복음 : 마태오 9,36-10,8 그때에 예수님께서는 36 군중을 보시고 가엾은 마음이 드셨다. 그들이 목자 없는 양들처럼 시달리며 기가 꺾여 있었기 때문이다. 37 그래서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. “수확할 것은 많은데 일꾼은 적다. 38 그러니 수확할 밭의 주인님께 일꾼들을 보내 주십사고 청하여라.” 10,1 예수님께서 열두 제자를 가까이 부르시고 그들에게 더러운 영들에 대한 권한을 주시어, 그것들을 쫓아내고 병자와 허약한 이들을 모두 고쳐 주게 하셨다. 2 열두 사도의 이름은 이러하다. 베드로라고 하는 시몬을 비롯하여 그의 동생 안드레아, 제베대오의 아들 야고보와 그의 동생 요한, 3 필립보와 바르톨로메오, 토마스와 세리 마태오, 알패오의 아들 야고보와 타대오, 4 열혈당원 시몬, 그리고 예수님을 팔아넘긴 유다 이스카리옷이다. 5 예수님께서 이 열두 사람을 보내시며 이렇게 분부하셨다. “다른 민족들에게 가는 길로 가지 말고, 사마리아인들의 고을에도 들어가지 마라. 6 이스라엘 집안의 길 잃은 양들에게 가라. 7 가서 ‘하늘 나라가 가까이 왔다.’ 하고 선포하여라. 8 앓는 이들을 고쳐 주고 죽은 이들을 일으켜 주어라. 나병 환자들을 깨끗하게 해 주고 마귀들을 쫓아내어라. 너희가 거저 받았으니 거저 주어라.”

Gospel : Matthew 9:36—10:8 At the sight of the crowds, Jesus’ heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” Then he summoned his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness. The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus; Simon from Cana, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him. Jesus sent out these twelve after instructing them thus, “Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town. Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”

예물 기도 하느님, 이 예물이 사람의 몸과 마음을 살리는 양식이 되고 사람을 새롭게 하는 성사가 되게 하시니 이 제사가 저희 육신과 영혼에 도움이 되게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

Prayer over the Offerings O God, who in the offerings presented here provide for the twofold needs of human nature, nourishing us with food and renewing us with your Sacrament, grant, we pray, that the sustenance they provide may not fail us in body or in spirit. Through Christ our Lord.

영성체송 : 시편 27(26),4 주님께 청하는 오직 한 가지, 나 그것을 얻고자 하니, 내 한평생, 주님의 집에 사는 것이라네. 또는 : 요한 17,11 참조 주님이 말씀하신다. 거룩하신 아버지, 아버지가 저에게 주신 이름으로 이들을 지키시어, 이들도 우리처럼 하나가 되게 해 주소서.

영성체 후 기도 주님, 이 거룩한 잔치에서 성체를 받아 모셨으니 저희가 주님의 사랑으로 친교를 이루어 주님의 교회 안에서 하나가 되게 하소서. 우리 주 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.
